Just the placement of Rahu in 7th house does not mean delayed marriage.
One needs to take into consideration the 7th house Lord, the karaka for marriage also, which is to be ascertained after taking a look at the Lagna (Ascendent).
The Malefics aspecting the 7th house or the owner of the 7th house may also be one of the reason.

Good analysis. And, rahu is the natural badaka in the horoscope, which house ( BHava) does he own? This will assist. And where is the moon? the karaka of the 7th house? Yes, just one graha only for an analysis is difficult if not impossible. And what house is rahu transiting now?
So as one looks to rahu as the badaka, a further review of the houses and Karaka that promote relationships need to be considered, as many times in life its a tug-of-war between different influences.
