Guru Meri Pooja - Your Experiences, Thoughts, Insights

    Hari Om!

Although there is another thread devoted specifically to bhajans, I would like to dedicate this one in particular to the discussion of "Guru Meri Pooja" asking for your experiences with, thoughts on and insights into such.

Quite honestly, I've always had special affection for this one because it was sung at the satsang where I took diksha. My heart knew the words, I even had some mental understanding, but never truly knew the entire meaning until recently. The video, the first in line of those listed on the link below, gives the words and meaning. Am totally floored, speechless and feeling a connection to Guruji as if I were kneeling before Him on that very day in Tehri.

I would like to know more about the meaning of the bhajan and esteemed members experiences, etc as previously mentioned.

Thank-you in advance for your consideration and contributions.

    Namaste,

Thank you for sharing such a personal experience. It indeed is a very sweet and hypnotic bhajan sung to emphasize Guru's place in one's life. Best wishes.

    Pranam.
