    A word and an embrace

    Dear Devotees of Lord Hari

Intense thirst for KRshNa-kathA in some of you and those requests has made ShyAMsundar manifest a smaranam. Just see the power of yr devotion. "Where is smaranam?" was the question. It was actually a cross-question and a demand, and since no one was around, it reached the Lord Himself directly.

    Namaste Smaranam ji

Hope you had a wonderful Gokulashtami! I am sure little kAnhO carried forth some of our requests straight to your shrine room when Janmashtami arrived and visited you with our earning for your company!

Dear Virajaji, yes, if He does little things on Ekadashis, then just think how special JanmAshTami is.

Namaste and a poem for you ...

    "How did we forget?"

    All living beings
    Are taken to forever
    Remember, smaranam

    Every pair of wings
    Fly the sentiment beyond
    Sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam

    I once studied hard
    The Form of the Lord
    Remembrance, smaranam

    Concentrating mind
    Leaving all others behind
    Only remembering, smaranam

    The child of dhruvanusmrti
    Stole the butter of Sun
    Then remembered, smaranam

    The giant woke from slumber
    To samadhi of the drum
    Of remembrance, smaranam

    Then the frail tomorrow
Became today and all was One
    When we remembered, smaranam

    Dear ShivaFan

Very nice poem. Complete. "Stole the butter of Sun"

Your bhakti is soaring and your poetry is everywhere. Please share all your poetry with us on a special thread dedicated to that.

I like the other one too - about Guru.
