    Namaste

How can we compare an equivalent English word with a Sanskrit word and infer differently ?

If we consider "Dharma" as the equivalent Sanskrit word for religion, then, if a person is heavily involved into Dharma, that person is a Sadhak.

If we consider "Matha" as the equivalent Sanskrit word for religion, then, the same inference holds good.

How can we compare apples with apples and claim they are different?

    Namaste Dhanya Ji,

There may be physical changes , calmness in demeanor or even radiance - but it is a slippery slope to follow. Most of the times genetics & good health can make one appear with every adorable attributes. Associating these attributes with spiritual greatness could mislead a seeker terribly.

Realized folks may not pay much attention to their appearance. Their radiance and beauty are mostly missed by our physical senses. Recognizing great souls by observing their action , rather than their appearance , could pay rich rewards in our spiritual journey.

This won't add value to OP, however, unless we explain the difference how can they be different.

Here the discussion is about the meaning of words "Dharma" and "Matha". Also why some one heavily into Matha cant be Sadhak?

Re check the OP for more info.

BTW, this question wont add any value to OP. I pointed it out because of the un wanted confusion.

    Dear Friends,

A person who is complete within sees only completeness all around. So if we are mindful, relaxed ... Abiding as the Self, we see everything around as Self Alone !

and if a person is agitated within, even a meditating saint may appear to be sleeping!

So ... our job is not to spot the Buddha in others, our job is to Discover our own Self.

    Love!
