    Any mantra for ailments?

Hello, I'm doing japa to Lord Ganesha everyday, it seems to be helping me in my job but I mainly was asking Him to help me with my irritable bowel problems. Some days I feel good, some days I feel really bad but it doesn't seem to depend on wether I do japa or not.
Is there any other Ishta-Devata which may help me more specifically with this ailment?
Or should I keep on doing japa only to Lord Ganesha?

    Thanks.

    Namaste,

To Durga devi -> "Hreem Shreem Kleem Durgatinaashinyai Mahaamaayai Swaahaa".

Long time ago, the above mantra helped me get psychological relief from chronic unemployment and also bestowed me with good employment.

You might wonder why I am mentioning this for ailment related query, if you closely look at the mantra's meaning, it says, i) Bija mantra (hreem shreem kleem) ii) Durgatinaashinyai - one who would relieve the sadhaka of ill-fated destiny.

Therefore based on the meaning, I feel the above mantra could work. (I recited it 108 times each day for 48 days).

    Thanks and good luck.

Thanks for the mantra, I'll try it.
Can I do it alongside with Ganesha mantra or should I do it alone?

Any link to hear the mantra?

    Namaste Ale,

Yes, you can recite this mantra along with worshiping Ganeshji's mantra.

Sorry, I have no means to let you hear the mantra being recited.

Actually, I will PM you some jyotish site names. You can become a member and post your query. (You need date of birth, place of birth and time of birth) and based on your horoscope, astrologers might give you a suitable mantra to relieve your ailment.

Also, other members here might advice you.

    Thanks and regards.

    Namaste ale,

Yes, the Karma can make you suffer and you may seek God's grace or Guru's grace to overcome your karma which might be troubling you. However, we should not shun our effort to alleviate the sufferings. The grace may come in the form of some guidance too.

In my opinion, this IBS is result of wrong eating habits, nervousness due to stressful life etc. So, in my opinion, the best way to treat it should be to try Naturopathy. Though, it is advisable to work under a specialist but you have don'rt have one, you may try to do it yourself.

Naturopathy advises to eat, sleep. exercise in the most natural way as it has been designed for human beings. I would advise you read a book written by Dr Vitthal Das Modi named, "Nature Cure for Common diseases". http://www.flipkart.com/nature-cure-...mdytgpmudmywk3

It will answer most of your questions. Why am I advocating it ? I was suffering from chronic allergical rhinitis and that had made my life miserable. Allopathy doctors ( my personal friends) had expressed helplessness in solving my problem stating that this has no cure. I adopted Naturopathic way of living (there are no medicines. you have simply to change the way you live) for six months and I got cured from that disease for good. So, I believe, you too can benefit from this.

    Namaste Ale84,

I just wanted to let you know the mantra I gave you is called 'Kalpavriksha Mantra' and there is a correction to it, the correct version is:

OM HREEM SHREEM KREEM DURGATI-NASHINYAI MAHAMAYAI SWAHA

    Thanks.
