NaMo's hunkaar rally was possibly the largest political gathering in post-Independence India-audience of 10 lakh(1 million). Some sources estimate 12 lakh.

5 bombs went off at the rally venue and 1 at the station where people were arriving for the rally. This is a shameful attack on democracy! Condolences to the victims.

And hats off to the crowd which did not stampede or panic, and in the face of terror, showed their commitment to democracy.

That is the real face of the anti-Modi forces. Our prayers and condolences with the families of the deceased. Hope the injured recover fully and once again become productive citizens of the great democracy that India is.

Nitish Kumar perhaps assumes that there is no real time monitoring that security forces can do. He dismisses security lapse merely on the basis that there was no information provided by Intelligence network. Apparently in case of Bodh Gaya blasts, intelligence was provided by IB and Delhi Police and yet security forces didn’t do their homework. I just can't believe Nitish Kumar any more. Feel very sad for people who lost their dear ones.

It is on the news now in the U.S.. Who would do such a thing? The Islamic jihadee terrorists? Pakistan? Political rivals? Communists?

I do not believe Congress would do this. What were the bombs made of? This will tell a lot, as far as terror or Pak fingerprint.

Does anyone in their right mind think they will hurt Modi? He will be stronger.
