    Re: A distant dream???

    Dear friends ,
just as a real and intensly devoted sadhaka has thirst for having a glimpse of his personal deity , a greedy person has thirst for money and possessions and he leaves no stone un turned for acquiring them . The effort he makes can be compared to thapas .Though not to that extent , even an ordinary man also puts all his energy and emotional reserves for that purpose . That's why I used the word tapas.

    Namaste,

...... a greedy person has thirst for money and possessions and he leaves no stone unturned for acquiring them...

......even an ordinary man also puts all his energy and emotional reserves for that purpose.......
Let us see, the greedy people go after money, and the ordinary people go after money; so who is left?

Perhaps some thought should be given to the jibberish being posted in the guise of high level spiritual thoughts. Just being old does not give one a license to pretend to be knowledgeable about everything and come out with all kinds of non-sense. A thoughtful older person can be a source of wisdom and a senile older person can be a source of nuisance. We must remember that posting in the forum is a privilege and not a birth right conferred by some govt. 'babus'. This thread needs to be locked up before it gets any worse.

    Pranam.

PS, to whom it may concern, the South Indian languages perhaps don't have the letter 't' in their alphabet, so they always spell 'tapas' as 'thapas' and 'jyot' as 'jyoth' and so on. Just a little variation of the sounds/spellings to conform to the consonants available in people's respective native languages.

    Dear friend
If a thought does not seem to be correct , one one can just ignore the post . It is neither jibberish nor nonsense .It is what we see around many times . Passing irresponsible comments in the name of knowledge is audacity .Forum belongs to all and as long as decent limits are not crossed all of us have a right to express their opinions .
