    Namaskar,

I understand this offering may be a bit of a reach for some. I offer it anyway in the spirit with which it was created.

    Namaste,

Here is something very beautiful, the Shiva Sahasranama:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iRdzHQqrC4

I can't put into words how enchanting this one is! Does anyone know where I might find the words to this so that I may follow along? I found a few versions of Shiva Sahasranama online, but they don't seem to match this one, and I know there are different versions.

    Pranam.

    Pranam.
There are 8 different versions of Shiva Sahasranama Stotram.

As the author (youtube uploader) says that this one is taken from Rudra Yamala Tantra, this version is different from the Mahabharata Version which is the most popular.

Shiva Sahasranama Direct link (pdf)from astrojyoti

Dhyanam is on page 6 and Sahasranama stotra starts from page 7.

    Source: http://www.astrojyoti.com/shivasahasranamastotramp3.htm

There are two ways to chant:

I is to chant each name as mantra e.g.

    * 1 * Om Sthirayai Nama - Salutations to Him who is perennial
    * 2 * Om Sthanave nama - Who is the axis of the world
    * 3 * Om Prabhave nama - Who is the lord of all the world
    * 4 * Om Bheemayai nama - Who is the source of fear

Shiva Sahasranama 1008 names (Youtube Link)

Another version is to chant it as a verse

    e.g.

    Sarvaatmaa sarvavikhyaatah sarvah sarvakaro bhavah
Jatii charmii shikhandii cha sarvaangah sarvabhaavanah 2

    Harishcha harinaakshashcha sarvabhuutaharah prabhuh
Pravrittishcha nivrittishcha niyatah shaashvato dhruvah 3

Shiva Sahasranama - Chanted as verse (Youtube Link)

    (Mahabharat version)

    Namaste ji,

I recently started clicking through You Tube in search of more bjajans. I've run across several lists that I would like to share. I figure the lists are better than presenting over a dozen separate links. I've ended up getting copies of many of these songs.

I know some of them apparently are from movie soundtracks. I haven't seen the movies and don't really care. I like the music and if they are in praise of Bhagavan as well all the better. But if it's not really your thing then be warned.

Oh yes, some of these have some of the same songs too.

    Namaste,
I often listen to this album when I'm meditating. This is the whole album, starting with Shiva Manas Puja.
