Thread: Namaste

    Namaste

Hello everyone, I've been reading this forum for a few months and decided to start posting. I'm here to learn and research Sanatan Dharma.

Bit about myself: Mother tongue is Bangla, was raised in Kolkata till end of class 8 when my family moved to the US (Miami, FL). My family is Brahmin by last name, and fairly atheistic/agnostic/Christianized-Hindus. I barely know anything about Sanatan Dharma besides the name of the scriptures/treatises and superficial paraphrases of them. So, like I said, I'm here to learn.

Good to know that you are from bengal. It is the land which has produced many of the top philosophers in India.

Incidently I am also from there.

    Happy learning.
    Love and best wishes:hug:

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. It is nice to read and have written references available on this platform for most of the teachings that I have picked up orally...

Vannakkam and Namste: Hopefully we can be of some assistance then. Do you attend any nearby temples? if so, I'd like to hear of the ones in your part of the world. All I ever hear about from there it seems is the next hurricane.

    Jai shri Maa.
I am not new to this forum but at the same time visiting this forum after a long gap.
I am a Shakt & a seeker or knowledge that enlightens my soul.
I want to salute my GURUJI ( hoping that my massage reaches him too) who explained my about this forum and then I joined it. Its full of worthy stuffs for the people who wants to bring about a true positive change in the life.
I am more inclined as on now on DSS(Durga Saptshati).
If some one can tell me where can I get Markandeya Purana on this forum,I'll fell blessed.

I'll start a thread relating to Maateshwari soon.

    Jai Shri Maa

    Ajeet- Chennai.
