Namaste Sant,
Please read the verses following the 'Two Bird' verses in either Mundka or in Svet. Up.
----------------------
Isn't it upto the seer?
Svet. Up.
IV-18: When ignorance is dispelled, there is neither day nor night, neither being nor non-being. There is only that Auspicious One who is imperishable, and who is worthy of being adored by the creator (mind). From Him has proceeded the ancient wisdom.
Or, is it not upto the knower (mind-ego) to create variety, knowingly (as by Rishis) or unknowingly (as by us)?
BG 13. 27. Wherever a being is born, whether it be unmoving or moving, know thou, O best of the Bharatas (Arjuna), that it is from the union between the Field and its Knower.
(This verse hides a lot).
Is there birth of anything till a knower unites with the field? And then the born must perish. Although the born may appear intelligent, it is not. OTOH, Advaita is anadimat and the ancient source of wisdom, by whom only the field is illuminated.
Om Namah Shivaya
