    Little India in Paris

    Namaste,

Dosa tastes as savory in Little India, Paris as anywhere else,

    And, so does Uttapam

    Clothing and jewelery stores,

The first Indian immigrants to Paris came from Pondicherry. In recent times many Tamils arrived from Sri Lanka as well as some Punjabis.

    Namaste,

Just when I thought that there was nothing left to explore at Kona, I came across a Shivling type symbol at a couple of Hawaiian sacred sites. The first one was at a small shrine at a beach

The second was at a much bigger shrine at a bay. I could not find any literature on the significance of their use of the symbol of this shape in their shrines. The temple was a large flat surface made from lava rocks. At one corner of this temple was an alter, again a flat surface made with lava rocks and the Shivling type symbol was nestled at the center of the alter with the support of a pile of lava rocks. Such sacred sites are always marked with signs reading KAPU, meaning 'no trespassing'.

Petroglyph at a remote location - ancient Hawaiians made carvings on the rocks at this site and their significance is unknown

At the end of the day one could just rest up

    Or enjoy the scenery

So far I've been at Plitvice Lakes several times and every time it rained. There rain often falls and one should always keep an umbrella.

Thanks for the info. Umbrellas were good for the light rain but when it became a downpour, we had to run for cover.
