Namaste HDF!

So I've been reading a new book I got called Official Truth, 101 Proof, which is about the heavy metal band Pantera, their story as told by their bass guitar player.

You're probably wondering what that has to do with Hinduism. Well, while it doesn't directly involve Hinduism (the bass player is not Hindu), this one passage I read from the first chapter of the book I think is applicable:

I've had a lot of help from upstairs, you know. That's the way I like to put it. I don't care what anyone else believes or doesn't believe. That's their deal, but for me, I believe in God although I don't subscribe to any particular organized religion.
This struck me in a positive way. Again, this person isn't Hindu, but it reminded me of the universal nature of God, and this source was an unlikely one for me, considering the lives of excess rock stars get into. I guess I wanted to share this to show that anyone - and everyone - can benefit from God.
