    Self-Realization and Planets

    Respected Yajvanji/Rohinirajan/Others

Can anyone tell me which Deity plays a important role of a devotee getting self-realized ? Even though advaita prescribes formless brahman, one should first purify the mind using saguna brahman worship and proceed accordingly.

In this case, which one of below plays a critical role in this case?

    1)Deity related to Atmakaraka planet.
    2)Istadevata ( decided from navamsa)
    3)deities related to 5th and 9th house in D20.

ketu is a major contributor. Now why would that be ? Ketu is mokṣa-karaka.

What more needs to occur ? We look to jaimini’s upadeśa sūtras for guidance: The 1 chapter, 2nd pada, 70th verse¹, we are informed: if ketu is in the 4th or 12th from kārakāṃśa emancipation is granted ( some say eminent , some say final bliss). What is the kārakāṃśa position ? It is the location of the ātmakāraka in the 1/9th divisional chart (navaṃśa ).

The kārakāṃśa position represents the nature/desire of the ātma ( so we are taught). I am not firm on this matter but pass along the teaching as I was instructed.
For those versed in jyotish I am hopeful you see why it would be the 12th or 4th houses, and why it would be viewed/analyzed from the navaṃśa chart.

    1. 70th verse - one needs to read the 68th, 69th and 70th verse to tie the meanings together which includes ketu.
This is Sanjay Rath's version; others differ on the translation of these sūtra-s in question.

Thanks for reply. What if Atmakaraka and Ketu are in same house in Navamsa?

Does scriptures say a way to burn our karmas in a faster way?
