Visit Hinglaj Mata Temple by Video - see Artik with Your Own Eyes

    Namaste

Visit the Hinglaj Mata Temple by visiting this video:

See Devi Murthi with your eyes.

You will see, it is in Rajasthan, Pakistan Baluchi.

The world is like a Pomegranate, there are many seeds in in. They are different, each one. They are in a different place in the pomegranate. Some are a little smaller. Some are a little bigger. But they are all red, they are all in the casing of the peel. They are all very close to each other. They are all One.

From one seed a new pomegranate tree can grow. From one seed, many. Yet they are all One.

51 seeds of the World fell to Earth. One seed fell here.

    Namaste!
What a beautiful murti of the Mother! Also, I second what Equinox said. I have never heard it explained in that way before. Very wise indeed!

I did not understand the Pomegranate part. What 51 seeds were there on Earth? Is it some mythology that I have not come to know... I would really appreciate some explanation about the 51 seeds..

    Namaste ShivaFan,

Simply wonderful. Thanks for sharing - Darshan of Maa for so long, with the strong Mandir bells, drums, zaanj, a huge purifying flame of Aarati, and what to speak of the journey to Her Temple - a winding road through the hills as is always or mostly the case.

She radiates chaitanya through but not because of - the jewellery and silver sari.

Not to mention the spirit of the assembled devotees. Nostalgic.

    Vannakkam Aspirant,

The 51 seeds of the world mentioned by ShivaFan actually refers to the 51 body parts or ornaments of Sati, or Dakshayani. She's the first consort of Lord Shiva, before Mother Parvati (herself an incarnation of Sati).

Here is what happened generally. Sati's father, Daksha, disliked Shiva, and severed all ties with his daughter due to her choice of marriage. Daksha then hosted a grand yagna, to which all Gods were invited, except Shiva and Sati.

Sati insisted on attending, and was humiliated by Daksha. A heated argument ensued, and Sati, unable to take the humiliation anymore, immolated herself with her yogic powers.

When Shiva realised what had happened, he became so mad with rage, since he really loved Sati. He decapitated Daksha, and almost everyone present were killed too. Now there's two versions as to how her body became 51 pieces.

The first version says that Shiva carried Sati's charred body on his shoulder and did the Tandava dance. Thus her body came apart and fell on 51 places on Earth. The second version is that Shiva was so angry that he ran around the world in a crazed grief carrying the dead Sati. The other Gods, noticing this, called Lord Vishnu to restore Lord Shiva to his normal self. Vishnu then used his Sudharshana Chakra to dismember the dead Sati, after which Shiva regained his composure.

Each of the 51 places her body part or ornament fell onto became a sacred site, and a temple was built on each. They are collectively known as the Shakti Peethas, scattered across the entire Indian Subcontinent.

The Hinglaj Mata Temple mentioned by ShivaFan was where a part of Sati's head (the Bramharandhra) fell. The Shakti of this temple is the Goddess Kottari.

    That's from what I've read.

    Equinox,

I am aware of 108 Shakti peetas evolution, just in this case I couldn't understand it when it was compared to the Earth and 51 seeds of it. I really appreciate you giving the story to me.

    Namaste.
