How accurate is this for 1 Mukhi Rudraksha, because I am going to wear one this sunday. Is this true?

Vannakkam: Just my uneducated opinion ... not accurate.
True story - I forgot to wear my rudraksha this morning when I went to temple. I didn't have a car accident, nobody yelled at me, and I had a better than normal time at the temple with regard to feeling inner.
Aum Namasivaya
Namaste EM. How are you doing these days?
How many faces is your Rudraksha? I always love your concise, thought provoking comments, haha. I'm just a bit concerned about what Sadhguru (who I hold in quite high regard is saying) I don't want to achieve renunciation at 20, but I definitely want to be in that mindstate. Difficult to explain. My parents need me a lot at this point, would hate to distance myself from them.
Hari Om!
Have only had very positive experiences wearing Rudraksh of many mukhi.
Although I have found some of Satguru's teachings beneficial, not certain if I agree with this one as my experience with friends who wear it would provide otherwise. They are happy, productive people who have families and live peacefully within them and within society.
Thanks for sharing your experiences EMJi. Looking forward to your sharing as well Icy.

Namaste IcySupreme,
What is your rAshI (lunar zodiac sign, not solar)?
I have been recommended ek-mukhi rudrAksha looking at the renunciation as well as the rAshI. The maharaj asked my rAshI, then looked at a table in a book and said I shall see if I can find an ek-mukhi for you.
Before this a Gurumai in Badrinath gave me a pancha-mukhi rudraksha.
However, what the Guru in the video said, should perhaps be taken into consideration if you want to stay in the material world.
A few things :
* leaving the world need not be literal
* your parents needing you could be your relative emotional perspective as of today
* renunciation need not mean you can't be there for your parents
Why not ask Shiva? Pray to Him for light.
Again, dadhAmi buddhi yogam ...
KRshNa recommends buddhi-yoga, one-pointedness, not many-branched intellect running in different directions, or fear-based decisions.
Good Luck on your spiritual journey

Hari Om!
Dearest Icy Ji,
Yes, friends have ekmukhi and the experiences I described are attached to such. One wears that bead alone.
Do you currently wear other beads?
Smaranam's comments are very valuable in my opinion and gave me some new "food for thought". Much appreciated.
Om
