When you go to temple how do you feel !! that is called peace of mind. But this feeling has to be there for all day long then it is good but as soon as we enter this worldly activities, our peace gets disturbed. Our peace of mind gets disturb when something favourable or unfavourable event happens.
AmIHindu ji, You wrote: but as soon as we enter this worldly activities, our peace gets disturbed.

Can you tell me -- which worldly activities disturb our peace of mind ? and why ?

Or anybody else can throw some light on this matter ?

TouchedbytheLord ji, what are the CAUSES of worry or anxiety about anything in life ?

I agree with AmIHindu. To me, peace of mind is when God occupies your mind. I experience great peace of mind while doing puja, meditating, and japa. Also just something like going for a walk in nature, keeping your mind on God and letting the shakti permeate you.

Right before I came on here I listened to a beautiful rendition of Chamakam. Just sitting there with eyes closed for ten minutes, listening and being absorbed by the enchanting sounds...that is peace of mind.

Ok, but like AmIhindu ji, said: As soon as we enter this worldly activities, our peace gets disturbed.

    May be
But i think.. Yes! human life is very short, but not that short -- that one could say: I feel, or I will feel, greatful in every session of life, due to _____ or whatever.
Who knows which type of conditions we have to face in our coming life.

Anyways... very nice to meet you Shian ji.

I should be interested to hear your thoughts also jasdir.

If I may be so bold; It is the attachment to the fruit of action which creates friction within our minds, Action free from attachment has no disturbing affect.

Fear of the result of action may be said to be caused by subconscious knowledge of latent desires. The continued existence of the ego.

The effect of the guna is never completely void, yet to be awear of their movement, to see it from a distance allows one to auto compensate for their effect; rather like gimbels on a ships compass.

The notion of a force is somewhat misleading, we are impelled by Karma rather than forced, this is why the notion its self is so subtle and illusive. Force is which the ego perceives and does, the self is impelled by the field. How ever once we realise this, we may become compelled, still the same ego effect.

For example magnatisme, it is not a force unless named as such, the notion of which is misleading. The magnetic field just is that. Geometric, a landscape, within which all things interact simultaneously; neutral/+/-.

The initial 3 dimensions to make the Geometry of a landscape from which other effects may then emerge.

    Satva, Rajas, Tamas.

These three guna make prakRit, within these three axis; what is the coefficient of friction? How does this effect movement?

    Do body's attract?

I would stipulate that Rajas attracts Tamas and vis versa, that Satva in neutrality breaks the bonds of attachment.

Ok, thought process and musing over ...

Rajas attracts Tamas, and Tamas Rajas. The neutrality of Satva, breaks these bonds. How ever if we are in a state of predominant Rajas or Tamas, we may need to move through either Tamas or Rajas to find neutrality.

Satva facilitates this movement; reducing friction, reducing heat.

We all search for stability within this field. That; to my minds eye, explains the desires which we create, in order to help us evolve; some times revolve ...

You said we are impelled by karmas, but am asking WHAT impelled us to do that first karma ?
