To be Hindu is not communal

    Namaste,

Calling anyone communal who identifies himself as Hindu, and destroying the credibility of Hindu seers is the two pronged strategy being followed in Bharat. Here is an example of the 'other prong'.

    Pranam-s,

I found the author in the first article clever for utilizing a double-conclusion strategy, which is a trademark of informative-persuasive journalism:

"And judging from the discourse and debates that abound at ever so many think festivals and think tanks about where our country is heading, we do not seem to be even reflecting upon our historical failures, leave alone learning from them."

I didn't find a lot of depth in the second article, but found a neo-secular-centric undertone, nonetheless.

Coming back to the first article, I found it to be nicely written, and urging in its request for re-approaching criticism levied at Indian Hindus from outside and inside forces.

However, it would have been important to also mention that while Indian Hindus are facing vitriolic criticism especially from inside forces, "Hinduism" is making inroads in both European and American theaters (even though America is still vastly Christian).

Yoga has penetrated these lands. Ayurveda is being expounded on in higher circles of critical thinkers. So many Hindu temples are being constructed in America and Europe. Indian Hindus are well respected socio-economic members of both theaters.

For some reason, Advaitam and Dvaitam are the new sophistications when it comes to spiritual thought in America and the European countries.
