    Red Face Om/Aum/Omkara/Pranava Pronounciation?

    My fellow reasoning animals,

So I've heard a few different pronunciations of the sacred-syllable and have a few questions...

    1) Is it:
    a) "aaaaaahuuuuuhmmmmmmh" (three sounds)
    b) "AweMMmmm" (Awe as in 'On top') or
    c) "OOOOOMMMMMMM" (rhyming with 'home')?

    2) Does the pitch change? Like does it get higher pitched during the "Mmmmm" humming pitch "ooooooMMMMMMM"

    3) Is it lower pitched and sounded from deeper/lower in my body, or higher pitched and reverberated through the nose?

    4) Is there any "nnngggg" nasal part at the end where air comes out the nose?

    5) And what about the length? 3-5 second Om's, 13-15 seconds Om's?

Lastly, is it true chanting/meditating on Om is a direct route to God?

    Thank you for your consideration!
