    Regarding Sankalpa Mantra

During japa/puja/sandhyavandanam the following short sankalpa mantra is usually used with the hands in proper mudra: (used Mahaganapati puja as an example)

    A)
mama paatta Sakala/samsta duritakshaya dwara Sri Parameshwara preethyartham Mahaganaptim pujam karishye
Now in some other places this same mantra is given as:
    B)
Mamo partha samastha durithakshaya dwara ,
Sri Parameshwara preethyartham, Mahaganaptim pujam karishye
    .
Now, as we can see both mantras are identical except for that one word in italics red ,i,e patta or partha.
So,my question is whether both these versions correct ,carry the same meaning and purpose?
I' ve not learnt Sanskrit but i know meaning of the following words coming in the above mantras.:
    Mama--Mine,Samsta-All,Durita---Sin?,Kswaya Dwara--to remove destroy,Sri Parameswara--Lord Shiva,Prretyartham --to please,poojam karishye-I'm doing this puja.
