    Re: Mantra for Kalki Avatar?

    Namaste ji,

There is Vishnu Gayatri Mantra for each Avatar in this site which I found:

    http://dhevee.com/content/vishnu-gayathri-mantra

    For Kalki its this:

    Aum Boomi Nethraaya Vidmahe
    Maha-purushaaya Dhimahee
    Thanno Kalki Prachodayath

But whether it is actually accurate itself I wonder becos in Sanskrit Grammar rules the letter Ka comes under hard consonants and going by this the Thannah which preceeds the word Kalki will not be converted into Thanno as seen in this Gayatri above.

Therefore grammatically the last line should have been:

    Thannah Kalki Prachodayat.

Going by the fact that there was a grammatical error..so I would not have too high hopes if this Gayatri is acceptable to start with.

Thanks for your reply. I was looking for something like "Om Shree ... namah", but I don't know which grammatical form of the word "Kalki" is to be filled in.
