When the light has risen, there is no day, no night, neither existence nor non-existence; Siva alone is there. That is the eternal, the adorable light of Savitri, - and the ancient wisdom proceeded thence (Svetasvatara Upanishad IV-18). :)
Namaste,
I just wanted to share with all of you a song that I have been listening to a lot lately. I will play it in my car to and from work, and after listening to it and singing it for 20 or 30 minutes, I feel amazing. I feel the same as if I would have spent that time meditating.
I believe the words are as follows. Can anyone interpret?:
Jaya jaya Shiva Shambho (x4)
Mahadeva Shambho (x4)
Shiva Shiva Shiva Shambho (x4)
Mahadeva Shambho (x4)
Here is the video, I hope you enjoy!

Namaste Ram, and thank you for taking the time to translate that for me. I feel I get so much more from listening to and singing the songs when I know the meaning behind the word. I am always amazed that in the translations so few words are translated into so many.
Ram, what is the story behind that breathtaking picture?
Pranam.

Just wanted to share another favorite: Jai Uttal & Ben Leinbach - Mahadeva

I am ecstatic over the abudance of beautiful music I have been finding. I've always loved music but had such a hard time finding songs that I enjoy. Now I know where they all are.
Aum Namah Shivaya!
Om Namah Shivaya
Namaste,
Here's another one I really like, it's called Hara Shiva Shankara, by Jai Uttal. It starts off very slow, then about two minutes in picks up a really jazzy beat, it's different but I really like it!

Om Namah Shivaya
Namaskar,
So many wonderful posts, thanks so much everyone! Such lovely music! And special thanks for the words and translations.
Ram, such lovely art you've been posting lately, and this one of Pasupati against the Tripurasura is stunning.
I have some music I want to post but I need to check it against what has already been posted. While I do this, here is one for Sri Ganapati which hasn't been posted. Warning in advance it's modern and from the 2012 remake of Agneepath.

I have a very soft spot in my heart for this song. We were in a Sari shop in old Lucknow as a Ganaesha Chaturthi Immersion parade assembled outside the front door, we were completely unawares until the pink powder, glitter and rose petals started flying from a canon and the drums started up. They had a big truck a few feet away at the front of the line with more speakers than I've seen in nightclubs piled on the back, and they were blaring this song, live drummers playing along. It's one of my favorite memories in this life.
I have it on video, but every time I try and upload it to you tube it gets blocked because the song is too clear. In fact, that's how we figured out what the song was to get a copy.
This is the aarti bhajan they play at the end within the song:
