Re: New Folks ... Some Core Ideas for HDF

We are all aligned to and wrapped in delusions.

But we no longer have the luxury of remaining characterized as knowledgeable, superb, or unsuccessful in HDF.

I too am a new member.

Each expression, each thread, each post is so unique here.

It shoulders each other to the one Ultimate Aim.

All we need is to have patience; a willingness to learn, its a divine work in progress.

Most importantly, we participate; we open up, learn, feel, experience, remove our ego, clarify, stabilize and be ourselves.

Namaste and humble pranams to all the wonderful beings on these forums.

My dharma is first to dwell in the Lord of my heart, and then, Sanatana Dharma. But since God in one, i am open to ideas on core spirituality from any Dharma, as long as its about our relation with the Absolute Supreme.

I am hear to learn, share and express, but mostly learn from all of you.

May the Supreme Lord bless everyone.

    Namaste,

My name is Balagopal from Mumbai, India. Looking to gather more light on this journey called LIFE. Association is the key to all success. Hence I hang around in this group - collecting and giving what I need and have.

One among the important austerity 'he' has suggested in 'gita' for communication is in verse 17/15 -

    "anudvegakara.n vAkya.n satya.n priyahita.n cha yat
    svAdhyAyAbhyasana.n chaiva vA~Nmaya.n tapa uchyat"

    - Being truthful, likeable, beneficial and presenting without unduly exciting will become a habit as one continues the self study of the scriptures. I know we all remember this verse while communicating within and without this forum.

    Regards

    Balagopal

Hello, and greetings (again) to all

I have to say that, IMO, taking the time to practice meditation ... to take time to _justsit_ this is the most valuable notion.

There's nothing that can be thunk that is better than what isn't!

It is revealed in the sacred doctrine of Kula and by the great Bhairava, that the perfection is achieved by that very means by which fall occurs.

I stumbled upon this forum and found some of the posts interesting. I am a Hindu and believe in a Supreme power. I have delved in various eastern philosophies and know to some extent the western ones. I hope to learn more here.
