Please remove the fear that you wont be accepted. Hinduism is a way of life. Anyone is free to adopt it. Regular visits at temples can be fruitful, as you can get guidance.

Please understand that wherever temples are built in foreign land, then they out to embrace all. We do not believe in closed private circles.

Even Hindus worship more than one form of God.

    Nice shrine

You could go for a weekend and see 3 or 4. According to google maps, you're closer to Denmark than to Stockholm.

Thank you for the link tips, yes i'm closer to Denmark. They have a lovely Ganesha Temple in Stockholm (watch youtube).

    Namaste,

Hinduism is a way of life. If you have started walking the Hindu way, you are a Hindu

Do not be too much worried about the tags, what matters is our inclination and dedication. Rest all are trivial issues.

Vannakkam: Anyone can say anything whenever they want to. That doesn't mean it would necessarily be accepted by everyone.

There is no definitive entrance point or strict guidelines laid down by anyone. Some sects do allow for an 'entrance' ceremony. Most would agree it's up to the individual so if you feel like you're a Hindu, you start calling yourself one.

Many converts or adoptives have expressed that they always were Hindu, but just didn't know it. It was a matter of realising that the beliefs of Hinduism were in line with previously existing beliefs.

As for the Stockholm temple, it looks like a typical south Indian or Sri Lankan run Tamil style temple, and the type I'm familiar with. I hope you do get a chance to go there.

    Best wishes as you proceed.
