    Viraja Ji,

Please find some of the common features/trades of Sani below.

Patience, Strictness, Interest in Cooking, Discipline, Affection towards spirituality, Democratic views, Mass Leader, Blue Collar Job, Trade Union Activists, Sociologists, Legal, Lawyers, Judge, Detachment (Key for attaining Sainthood), Vairaghya, Integrity etc

Mr Obama's chart is one of the best examples for this. His Asc is Makara with Sani and Guru. This is an example for Sasa Yoga and Neecha Banga Yoga. He won his first presidential election during Guru dasa. ( Guru is neecha in Lagna but with Sani).

Another easy of understanding this is analyzing Pandavas. They represent 5 planets and out of which Yudishtra rep's Saturn.

    Thanks

    Question Re: Saturn

    Hello,

I read an interesting article in Modern Astrology (latest issue) where one of the writers states the following:
"Saturn or Rahu in the 11th from the Moon produces Mahashakti Yoga making one courageous, powerful and a successful political leader"

    Why exactly is this so?

Saturn will have it's 3rd aspect on the moon. That should technically make one honest, conscientious, detached and so on if we go by the features written below. Why does it make one courageous? Or rather why does it give Mahashakti?
The only explanation I can think of is that it gives fortitude and discipline - hence making one powerful. Could not understand the courage part.

Any light on this (or Rahu's even) would be appreciated .

    Thanks,
    Laalu
