Namaste,
I wonder something similar, people sometimes end their posts with pranam or pranams, what is the difference and which is correct?
Thank you.
Om Namah Shivaya
"Namaste" is used for greeting one person and even many people.

Namaste,
Namaste=I bow to the divine within you
As EM has pointed out, it is not a noun and does not have a plural. So, without over-analyzing it, it is safe to say that just Namaste is the correct greeting. Some people use the words pranams and namastes and hellos to be cute.
Pranam.
namaste.

Namaskar ji,
As one who uses this, this is my own understanding/reason for it. I picked it up after having seen it used elsewhere and seemed pretty acceptable as a way to direct the respectful parting to multiple people in a Forum or Thread with one word instead of several. Though I usually see it written as 'Pranam-s', I've gotten a little lazy and often forget the spacer. I don't use it to offend, and I hope it doesn't.
