Dreaming the cosmos

Dear all,
Having read few books on shamanism and watching the movie "The Inception" again today..a thought came into my mind. How likely is that Brahman or Supreme Intelligence dreamed the cosmos into existence and we all are part of its dream?

Re: Dreaming the cosmos

Namaste

I believe this is a rather common interpretation, well expressed in Narayana asleep upon Ananta resting in the embrace of Visnomayi who massages all the pain of the worlds from his feet.

Re: Dreaming the cosmos

Then this could be more plausible explanation of cosmos.. but Brahman or Supreme Intelligence being should precede any God..if Narayana only dreams while asleep on Adiseshu.. then it means all gods are real while rest of the cosmos is not real.. which doesn't concur with Advaita
