Smile Hello or as you say in my language "namaskar"

    Hello or namaste,
    I'm FollowerJunior - a 13 year old seeker
I'm fortunate enough that God has led me to this page as an answer to my prayers. I am still at the age where I go to school, and find it hard to find people of my religion - sat sang is difficult. Good people do not go about advertising themselves. Maybe, God willing, I will learn a great deal here from seekers and others who have made more spiritual progress than me. My friends, despite being good hearted, are not religious and...well, are teenagers. I do not want to gossip. I do not want to talk about the latest celebrity scandals. To be honest I would like to only talk about things that bring me closer to God.
But unfortunately society demands it like it does a lot of other things - and I need to find solutions for my weaknesses to avoid giving into low-minded talk.
Hopefully, this is where I will get them

    Thanks,
    FollowerJunior

    Hari Om!

    A very warm welcome!

So nice to see you at this age as it reminds me of myself who started the quest at age 10 or so when parents and clergy couldn't answer my queries and I had a "higher" calling so to say. I needed more than they could provide and was left to my own to find the answers. I admire you and would be happy to assist if needed or wanted.

In terms of satsang, please avail yourself of YouTube and if you don't have restrictions from parents perhaps search out balvihar or other satsangs in your area. Would be happy to provide suggestions if appropriate.

There are some younger members on the forums. Please seek them out. Also again, if parents don't object, contact local mandirs as those that are better organized will have programs for those your age - a perfect place to meet and learn, share, etc.

You are very fortunate and blessed.

    All the best to you.

    Om
