Namaste Shian,
I don't know if SD has any quotes about 'worldly love', but the most famous one goes something like, love consists of two consonants, two vowels and two fools. ;)

Namaste Shian,
I was just listening to this and it seems to me to be very pertinent here:
Shiva Sutras
38. tripadādyanupraṇāma //
Emerging from the state of turya,
insert the absolute bliss of that state into the waking,
dreaming, and deep sleep states,
and they will become one with that state of turya.
Swami LakṣmanJū goes on to expound, using citations from shastra:
"You must perceive the reality of that state which is filled with your own bliss of God conciousness, which is
without differentiated thought and which is always full of the Śakti of Bhairava. This state, which is absolutely
pure and filled with universal conciousness, fills the whole universe with bliss." (Vijñânabhairava Tantra 15)
"The experience of joy which rises at the moment you are united with and are absolutely embracing your life
partner is actually the joy of brahman. This joy can only be known by a trick. If, however, you you do not know
this trick, then it is just the union of two beasts." (Vijñânabhairava Tantra 69)
Is Love not the trick?
