This term has some philosophical meaning in Buddhism, but I would like to know if Ālaya also is used in Vedanta or any school of Hinduism.

I am not asking for the meaning, that I know - residence, home, source etc. But either alone or in compound is Ālaya used in Hindu philosophical teachings or texts?

Now change the first letter, so we have Alaya, which means something like not impermanent. Is Alaya used in any philosophical teachings or texts?
